Business offers run through K-I-Soft IT&Holding GmbH. Its details are in the legal notice of k-i-soft.ch.
This site sets no cookies and embeds no analytics, advertising or tracking services. Fonts and images are served from the site itself, with no connection to Google Fonts or any other third party. Personal data only arises in the web server access logs and when you write to me or call me. The governing law is the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The contracting party is Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg, acting as processor. The AWS account is run by K-I-Soft IT&Holding GmbH in Kehrsatz, which I own.
For every request CloudFront writes a line to an access log. Among other things it contains:
The logs serve the operation and security of the site and a simple statistic. They are analysed with Munot, a K-I-Soft tool of my own that also runs in AWS Zurich. Munot counts page views and visitors and tells people, search engines and AI crawlers apart. The IP address is used to count distinct visitors and to check whether a crawler really comes from the provider it claims. No profiles are built, and the logs are not combined with other data.
The IP address is neither shortened nor anonymised. The logs stay in the site storage for 180 days. For the analysis Munot copies them into storage of its own, also in Zurich: the raw data stays there for 90 days, the processed logs including the IP address for 400 days. After that only counts without personal data remain. The logs are not passed on to third parties.
If you write to me or call me, I only use your details to answer your request. I delete them once they are no longer needed for that, unless a legal duty requires keeping them longer.
